Our primary school opened in September 2013 and it consists of grades one through six. Ratio of Teacher to Student is 1:15. Our primary teachers are all well experienced from each domain, across all grades.
WHAT IS OUR CURRICULUM?
Our curriculum is an integrated creative curriculum. This is a fusion of American and Nigerian standards that will be delivered through an activity/hands-on, differentiated instruction approach. The emphasis is to meet all Nigerian standards for primary school to ensure students’ chances of success in post-primary institutions. Our curriculum has activity and experimental elements for each unit of class, adhering to our desire for a discovery-learning centered and creative approach.
WE HAVE SMALL CLASSES:
Our class sizes have a maximum student-to-teacher ratio of 8:1.
TECHNOLOGY: Lessons will be technology-based as appropriate as each classroom will be fitted with particular items (this stretches down to the Early Years portion of the school as well).
WE HAVE SCHOOL UNIFORMS: School uniforms will be introduced as Polos and Chinos.
OUR FACILITIES: We have other areas of engagement besides our classrooms. We also have swimming, a music room, a ballet room, a library and a computer lab.
WE BELIEVE IN CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES: We facilitate several clubs desired by our children. Some of ours include a Reading Club, Life skills Club, Board games Club, Music club, Ballet Dance and Choreography Club, Swimming Club, and the Taekwondo Club. Suggestions are always welcome, and new clubs are fun to implement.
